Gift art for *LordOnisyr because she deserves it for being such a good friend and hanging in there during my long absence. Plus she’s just an awesome person in general…a bit kooky, but aren’t we all? And speaking of kooky…this is her character Salmryn Do’Urden and he is a water genasi and the son of Drizzt Do'Urden through rather unusual means (you wanna know about it ask LordOnisyr or read her story "Siren's Cry.”
 The character’s odd appearance is because of his heritage and his odd taste in clothing is just his personality, so no one complain about the clothing being weird for a drow.I admit, I’m not a ton of happy with the picture, but at least I got a picture done! Hot diggity dog!  I laugh every time I look at it though because it reminds me of the cover of one of those “easy listening” CDs. *cringes*   References Oddly enough I referenced *LordOnisyr’s plushie that she made more than anything else. Secondary reference was her Phoenix Brothers picture and the character bio she sent me. DUDE! DAMN! This kicks so much ass!
*ahem* Well needless to say I freaking adore this. 1) dd did a picture of my character, that for one makes me deleriously happy, 2) seeing you come out with a piece of art makes me really happy and 3) this rocks so very very hard.
Dude, you got the details just perfect; the hair, the eyes, the scales, the shape of the ears, the pants, the jewelry, just everything. Also this really really fits Sam's character, he is such a laid back guy and this is probably a typical scene for him; just chilling on a beach.
The easy listening CD cover comment is way too appropriate since he is a musician and *getting way too many ideas for how that could work*
I have to say after seeing this I am actually getting a few ideas for how I can start "Legend of the Phoenix Brothers" again, I really want to do more with Sam and his little buddies again.
