A commission piece for *miserythedrow of his dervish Moon Elf, Myth. His characters have the coolest names don’t they? :horns:

What to say about this piece… Well, the sword is a frost weapon and deals cold damage and I tried to show this with some “magic” effects. The frosty effects didn’t turn out as good as I would have hoped for, but *miserythedrow liked it so I left it alone. I really like how his name turned out in the background though. I was originally going to just have the triangle with the wings (his tattoo) in the background but I realized it looked like an M, so I painted in the rest of his name and tried to make it look interesting. It looks like a mix of hieroglyphics and Chinese writing to me. I think it’s cool. I also like his scabbard and want to steal it from him, hehe. And anyone notice how I’m all about the textured backgrounds now? I love em, hehe.

all I'm picturing right now is Szor climbing this guy's back with daggers @.@ lol.....mebbe me shouldn't have read the lil chibi story link in your journal before viewing this ey? kinda makes me laugh ..... lol anyway...in all seriousness...I agree...the name looks awesome like that..... certainly seems to fit "myth" as the word itself ^^; I really like how the sword looks too.....very catching and you can at least tell that yes it has some magical abilities ...sorta looks like icy crystals on the edge of the effect so cool for that ^^; nice piccy hun :hug:

lmao! Yeah, the "...HUSH!!! Mountains don't talk!" line cracked me up. :rofl:

As for the blade...yea it kinda looks like ice crystals, but it's also kinda fuzzy looking too. It just...didn't turn out how I wanted it to. I was having trouble making anything work though, so I settled for this. I was just lucky that *miserythedrow liked it. ^^;

Thanks. It's insanly difficult to color a character dressed in ALL black and not have everything blend together too much. But black always looks so cool so it's worth the trouble, hehe.
