Half Drow Twins

There are many sides to abuse, most notably is physical abuse and mental abuse. These two represent them both.

People keep telling me to do away with my lines so I gave it a try. Probably won’t color like this very often though because I don’t really like the technique all that much. I’m happy with the pic though. These are my half drow twins (3rd generation characters). The male is Terrik and the female is Teylanna. Their mother is human and their father is a drow. “Mom” and “Dad” are both established characters of mine and my spouses, though no one here at DA has ever had the pleasure of meeting either of them. You guys would really love their father though…he’s one sick bastard. I’ll introduce you someday I’m sure. I won’t go into too much detail with the kids though, but suffice it to say they were both horribly abused. Terrik’s abuse is outwardly obvious, Teylanna’s is not. (And no, Terrik is not smiling, he never smiles, he’s just missing a portion of his lip).

Both of the above characters were drawn on separate sheets of paper a LONG time ago. I didn’t date the males sketch but it was late 2004 sometime. I drew the female afterwards and her sketch actually does have a date on it, which is January 7, 2005. Yeah…I’m way late in coloring this, heh. D’ah well, better late than never!
